If Trump continues down the path he is going down now, I do not see the preservation of the Union as possible or even desirable, at least from a Northern perspective.

Republicans will really not like the consequences of their actions.

If current trends continue, I think it is guaranteed Trump will be impeached again, and impossible he will be removed.

But if Democrats get 51 seats in the Senate this November, we can completely defund the government, draining Trump of resources and increasing tax deductions for state taxes.

Electricity is back.
I thought we wouldn’t see it for a few days after the night attack.

French authorities released a video showing the boarding operation of the Russian shadow fleet tanker „Grinch“ (IMO: 9288851).

This is what we need across all seas. Europe needs to have a much more active role and here we see how easily it can be done.

Every time Republicans come to power they make health care worse.

Bush brought in Medicare Advantage, which no one should ever sign up for, and he made it so you can’t switch back to Medicare.

Bush also chose to create IRMAA instead of just negotiating prices, increasing costs for seniors.
January 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM
I just had a really crazy idea. Maybe instead of IRMAA surcharges for Medicare we could eliminate IRMAA and have Medicare negotiate prices with drug manufacturers to bring down costs…

I know I know… crazy idea.

You know who never served a day in the military, let alone “on the frontlines?”

I had some expectations regarding Ms. Meloni. She was far right, but uncompromising when it came to Putin. She now wants to cozy up to the delusional American who wants the end of the EU and sides with Putin.

Yesterday’s comments in Switzerland by Trump were the INEVITABLE consequence of trying to negotiate with Trump.

Stand strong against Trump by supporting Ukraine, and carry on.

For some reason, Trump said his tariffs would bring costs down for Americans. But the data shows what you already know: Americans are bearing 96% of the tariff burden. That's $200 billion coming straight out of our pockets because of him.

Brexit was always a Russian psy-op.
This is what worries me most at home. The instincts and views of any Reform-Tory govt are so totally at odds with the public, so outlandish to the median voter, as to make government and even the very ability to govern impossible. (1/2)
