If a web designer can refuse to make a website for a same-sex couple (see: 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis), then a performer can refuse to perform at the [still not "The Donald J. Trump and"] The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.

Someone please explain to me the difference between Vladimir Putin's coveting of Ukrainian territory and Donald Trump's coveting of Venezuelan oil fields (or all of Greenland, for that matter).

It cannot be overrated enough the extent to which the president of the U.S. has absolutely lost touch with all reality and who consistently speaks of events that never occurred, will never happen or that could never happen. If an intervention doesn’t happen, the risk to the country is incalculable

Calling for someone in Congress to stand up and say, "This guy is nuts!" Those exact words. Bonus points if it's a Republican.
Trump: We need Greenland for national protection. They have a very small population. They say Denmark, but Denmark has no military protection. They say that Denmark was there 300 years ago with a boat—well, we were there with boats too I’m sure.

Perfect summary of the semantics ruling the moment. This is in response to another post (itself wonderful and succinct) by Mueller, She Wrote saying that we should "Get ready for the 'Trump was a young playboy' propaganda, even though he was 50 and the girls were 14."

You can measure the quality of news outlets' political coverage by how often they write headlines starting with the words "Trump says" that don't show any skepticism about what Trump is saying even though he's the most prominent American liar of modern times.

Republicans gave $132 billion in tax breaks to the top 1% in 2027.

With that money, we could have extended ACA tax credits for over 20 million people next year and still have $100 billion left over.

Leavitt: "We know that when gas gets cheaper, everything else gets cheaper too, and that's what this president is focusing on"

About Trump's bandaged hand, Karoline Leavitt said, "The president is literally, constantly shaking hands. The Oval Office is like Grand Central Terminal. He is meeting with more people than any of you even know about on a daily basis."

This must be true. Remember Barack Obama's bandaged hand?

I need you to listen to and share this story - of how Trump is preparing to abandon Ukraine in exchange for Russian money for his billionaire friends.

It could be the greatest corruption of American foreign policy in our history. Russia gets Ukraine. Trump's friends get rich.

Trump, today, about London Mayor Sadiq Khan: "He’s a horrible mayor. He’s an incompetent mayor, but he’s a horrible, vicious, disgusting mayor. I think he’s done a terrible job."

It's all projection.

Just heard tape of Trump on the radio. Talking about Rep. Ilhan Omar, he said, “She’s garbage. Her friends are garbage," and I laughed out loud. How crazy that we actually elected this guy.
