i am always blown away by just how far ahead of its time DS9 was. really some of the most remarkable feats of writing in TV history. and the kind of show that could only have worked with 30+ episode seasons

I think this might be the year I’m done with social media. I love the idea of it. I love keeping up with friends and sharing my life. But I’m tired of feeling like a rat in a maze. 🧵 1/5

I really like this line from @linusmediagroup.com's Techlinked, where Riley says he's "nostalgic for a time when every product didn't come along with a little homunculus inside constantly tripping on shrooms but INSISTING he's sober." I couldn't put it better myself!

A tsunami of people twisting themselves into origami at the thought of Japanese words in English. Maybe they should stick to playing sudoku on their futon, or maybe pet a Shiba Inu and sing some karaoke instead.

The new BlueSky Icon is a BIG improvement! The old one, while more literal, lacked any kind of focus. 🦋

That's what pushed me to seek out an invite code.

I'm still really sad/mad that one megalomaniac could so quickly destroy a vibrant online community.
Maybe this is just anecdotal but I think the X thing was the final straw for a lot of people. Seeing a lot of pals crossing over.

This is the actual wallpaper I had on Windows XP. I made it myself when I was first learning Photoshop. It's like a time capsule of the early 2000s.
