Thank goodness for my emotional support squirrel.
I took the teen to see #PREDATOR BADLANDS last night. You might assume that a PG-13 movie where a Predator learns the value of friendship would be cheesy. And you would be right. It's also a ton of fun.

Trachtenberg and Aison are batting .1000 with the franchise. Looking forward to the next one.

There must be a German word for the feeling you get when a game you worked on becomes a Hallmark holiday ornament. A mix of nostalgia, pride, and the weight of time passing. I couldn't resist picking one up. #Halo3 #Halo

I just got out of a sold out showing here in Seattle and I'm pleased to report that Deathstalker (2025) is the best 80's sword and sorcery film. Period.

When I was little I thought Dagwood was lame as fuck because all he ever wanted was a big-ass sandwich and a nap. Now I realize that he had shit all figured out.

Hegseth: "A few months ago I was at the White House when President Trump announced his liberation day for America's trade policy. It was a landmark day. Well, today is another liberation day. The liberation of America's warriors ... you kill people and break things for a living."

The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.

We rolled credits on @sunderfolk.com last night after a tough boss battle. Thanks to the team for a whole summer of fun family game nights on the couch. Good memories! We appreciated the QOL updates the studio dropped throughout our playthrough.

Wishing Dreamhaven much success with this system.

I was on an industry panel on the making of the Halo series last night. Saw old friends, talked about old times. Had a bunch of fun. And was reminded of this wacky story:

After the infamous "Hot Coffee" incident and a bare butt snuck into a copy of 'Halo 2' for PC, Bungie executives believed anything was possible.

My partner surprised me with these chips thinking, "Steve likes Pringles and grilled meats. I bet he's like these."

Turns out they are some of the worst things I've ever tasted. Both cans landed in the garbage shortly after opening. Be warned.

I picked up the new game from @sunderfolk.com and fired it up with my daughter. It's incredibly charming and feels both comfortable and a brand new type of game at the same time. Phone/console integration is seamless. Art/design is great. This will be the game my family plays all summer I think.

Kenji Lopez-Alt recommended a teriyaki joint that I have passed by a hundred times and never considered stopping at. Today I tried it and damn if it didn't immediately become my favorite teriyaki in Seattle.
