There is a reason he’s forced to cause all of this chaos. He has NO PLAN. He funds no programs, no healthcare, no education, no lower prices, money coming in only supports more chaos. He envies other dictators. I challenge ANYONE to tell me just one single thing he’s accomplished? Discussion open

I learned today that Disney put up a cute little prompt on its Threads account "Share a Disney movie quote that resonates with how you're feeling right now" and wound up taking it down within hours because apparently Disney didn't realize that Disney movies are staunchly antifascist.

The most common warrant ICE uses is an Administrative Warrant. Of all warrant types, its the weakest because it's not issued by a judge or court, but an administrative agency. It does allow ICE to detain someone. It DOES NOT give them a right to enter your private property! Its NOT a search warrant.

Miller: Denmark is a tiny country with a tiny economy and a tiny military. They cannot defend Greenland… Under every understanding of law that has existed about territorial control for 500 years, to control a territory you have to be able to defend a territory…

People who were actually enslaved believed that chattel slavery would end one day.

I'm sorry but to me that suggests that you [who are not enslaved in 2026] can also imagine an end to the current horrors.

"People are being too purist about Gavin Newsom."

He invited yet another rightwing extremist to have a podcast conversation and instead of pushing back against that extremism, Newsom, yet again, backed down immediately.

I want a leader who isn't going to placate extremists. That's not a tough ask.

The very dutiful transcription of the fact that DOJ is launching an investigation into Walz and Frey doesn't exhibit the least critical thinking about what the crime was.

CBS at least names it but ... think about this, folks.

Felony saying mean things?

Renee Good had a pulse when EMS arrived. I’m not sure it would have made a difference if ICE had let that civilian physician render aid before EMS arrived, but now we will never know. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/01...

Everyone needs to Google where the term 'quisling' came from.

Vidkun Abraham Lauritz Jonssøn Quisling was a Norwegian military officer, politician and Nazi collaborator who headed the government of Norway during the country's occupation by Nazi Germany during World War.

He was hanged.

Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly. Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic.

The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.
Breaking news: The Justice Department has issued subpoenas for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as part of an investigation alleging that they are impeding federal law enforcement officers’ abilities to do their jobs in the state.
