I’m a bit cynical but utterly open minded, & I know there’s still a few surprises hiding that will either be good for me or not.

I’m a male survivor of FV.

(Oh & I had massive family responsibility from a very young age, so we don’t talk much & really don’t understand each other)

Just so you know
👋🏼 new followers…
I’m a former ICU nurse (& theatre & ED nurse & teacher) who burned everything as a whistleblower for safety (twice).

I’m rebuilding as an unemployed occasional nude life model for artists while studying a JD.

I play violin, I’m newly identified as ND & I’m too old for any of it.
Always read the fine print.

There’s activity behind the scenes, but still no idea what’s happening.
…and this morning I discover that I’m expected to vacate the hospital accommodation.

Today.

It’s hopefully a miscommunication somewhere, but it’s bringing on flashbacks.

And I have nothing organised because there’s been zero notice.

The Australian mainstream media and political establishment is at best silent,
and more likely complicit,
with this madness.

'Community safety' is the opposite of what is being delivered. #nswpol #auspol
Labor is simultaneously talking about letting CSG, a Zionist security org with close links to the IDF, carry heavy firearms at events in Australia, and also Australians can't protest anymore... What does that feel like?? Seriously?? Anyone that isn't batshit psycho ok with this?

Betcha the same thing happens now England has won a Test Match in Australia…
July 2025: Thousands of people came to support the Lionesses on their Homecoming celebration in St. James's Park following their UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 victory 🏆

Fans headed to the park to see the parade along The Mall before celebrations around the Queen Victoria Memorial 🎉

This is perfect. The DOJ's embarrassing snafu with disappearing redactions was the fault of Elon Musk. Musk cancelled government subscriptions to Adobe programs that would have made the redactions permanent. What a pack of fools.

Also, since she’s gone…if anyone wondered how Isbester v Knox City Council [2015] HCA 20 ended…she never ever tried to bite anyone, and was the best dog you could hope for.

(If you find this controversial you *will* be blocked).
A very long 18 months ago I left my old life: I had to leave the dog that saved me behind.

This year she left us.

Christmas decoration, soft furnishing engineer, astonishingly good company, best friend.

RIP Indie.

Three months ago my mother died while I was in Central Australia driving to the Top End.

I hadn’t seen her in four years, & she hadn’t seen me as her son since I was 13 (although much earlier, tbh).

Most of what I know I know because of her. Most of what I should know somehow never came up. 1/3

I know a lot of people need to hear this: you can actually just criticize people directly for their direct actions instead of saying “they must be on drugs”

Everyone starts somewhere: I’ve not worked with junior doctors for a long time.

Had a patient the other night who had a low voltage reading on the ECG, so the monitor kept triggering asystole. It really wasn’t & the patient was safe. 1/4

Responded to someone who used AI for her “art” yesterday and wanted to re-frame “slop” into a positive acronym, because she has a “proprietary prompt” and isn’t using it for commercial purposes.

This is the exchange. Am I wrong?

I’ve had insomnia for months and just realised I haven’t had a coffee for ages either.

So at 10:30 at night, I’ve had a triple shot iced coffee.

Guess who’s feeling sleepy?

(Another bit of evidence I actually do have inattentive ADD, I suspect).

Which was more likely to incite antisemitic violence: weekly pro-Palestinian marches attended by hundreds of thousands of citizens, or the televised devastation of Gaza? It's a fair question, but even asking it may soon be illegal.
