@mark-bray.bsky.social Hey I saw a post on another site saying you made 'Antifa, The Anti-Fascist Handbook' free to download, is that correct?

Do not comply in advance unless it's malicious.

Protect the vulnerable.

Stay informed.

Prepare for the worst.

Build your community.

Constantly reach out to your representatives until they actually represent and stand up, and then keep doing it. They forgot that they work for us.

Helicopter flying around over #Tacoma, but not appearing on FlightRadar24. Can't see what markings may be on the chopper.

So you mean to tell me that there's going to be a lot of people with military training with essentially nothing to lose and everything to fight for?

Bold strategy

Tuberville single-handedly held up confirmations for the better part of a year, yet you and yours keep voting for the creeps the GOP nominates like you are helpless little kittens in a basket with a bow, and have no means to push back on this avalanche of human garbage, so what’s up with THAT

As ICE ramps up immigration raids under Trump, @amytorres.bsky.social of @njaij.bsky.social explains why it's important to know your rights.

Telling my friends this, essentially. "Oh 'they' won't let him do that." Who is 'they'?" WE are 'they' - WE are the ones who stop this from happening. There are no other adults in the room to look to other than ourselves. It is up to us to stop the rising tide of fascism.

POTUS is shutting the US government down, except for immigration enforcement and military activities.

That’s the story. He’s shutting the whole government down. He’s closing up every aspect of the United States operation, except the parts with guns.

Bryan MacCormack, the executive director of a New York-based immigrant rights group, was pulled over by CBP with two undocumented passengers in the vehicle. He knew his rights, refused to acknowledge their "warrant", and despite CBP threatening him, the agents eventually were forced to let him go.

There was a story about one of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer writers researching occult history early on in the show's run. Joss Whedon was like, "What are you doing? We're gonna make it all up," thus founding conservative legal theory.

One effective tactic, and I'm not suggesting anyone do this, is for a person to call 25 of their best friends and all go stand in the path of the detention bus. And then each of those people calls 25 of their best friends, and so on, and everyone comes down for the "block" party.
ok, so…can I ask this without being called a useless shit lib or whatever?

If they’re doing ICE raids in my neighborhood (and they are, within a mile of me) what exactly do I DO about it?

I have read all the “you don’t have to open up without a judicial warrant” stuff but it’s not my door.

People on TikTok are reporting ICE raids happening in small cities in various states.

To get past algorithmic censorship, they’re writing down the information on paper and holding up and shuffling through the handwritten signs as they talk about pretend subjects like shopping, food, and animals.

The last time America built concentration camps to hold a hated and feared minority—in 19412, when we rounded up all Japanese-Americans on the West Coast and herded them into “relocation centers”—it did not work out well. Things will not end any differently this time. First of three threads: 1/30

If it's so irresponsible or anachronistic to compare MAGA policies to Nazism or the Klan, why is that contemporary neo-Nazis and Klansman are so enthusiastic about MAGA policies?
NEW: The KKK is distributing flyers in Kentucky telling immigrants to leave now.

The flyers show Uncle Sam kicking at a family, two of whom are wearing hijabs.

The leaflet says: “Mass Deportation. We need your help. Monitor & track all immigrants. Report them all.”

This is on Trump.

I think the thing that's stuck with me from this episode is how so much of Wallenberg's strategy was to show up and project authority, with the hope that buying people just a little more time would be enough to get them to safety. Things to think about.
