If there’s an app that’s creating and distributing illegal content that is causing harm, it should be reported.
I just did this. Took about 2 minutes. Scroll all the way down in the X listing in the App Store to “report a problem”
I recommend submitting a complaint.

1. Don’t track immunization rates 2. Cut recommended childhood vaccines from 17 to 11…so when kids start getting hospitalized or worse for preventable diseases, you’ve diddled the data. I’m so tired. I miss the old HHS. RFK Jr has got to go.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), run by Oz and his boss, RFK Jr., will no longer require physicians to report vaccination rates.

Instead, they plan to start having doctors report if they’ve discussed “alternative” vaccine schedules.
CMS to stop requiring states to report childhood vaccination levels

A run, a hike in the big woods, a walk with the dog…and managed to make some mini muffins to tuck into lunchboxes (and snack on).

It is very important that your federal electeds hear not only from you on social media, but through direct contact as well. Tag them and then

Call and email. Do both. Tell them to move to immediately impeach and remove for an unconstitutional war of aggression.

The Year America Broke Open
It would be silly to pretend that 2025 was not among the most challenging years this country has faced in modern times.

I’ve never been one for New Year’s resolutions, but I knocked this out of the park! If you’re searching for something to commit yourself to for 2026, I urge you to give something like this serious consideration.
I think my New Year’s resolution should be to eat more cake. If I set my mind to it, I think it’s something that I could achieve.

It’s been 4 1/2 months and I’m still not over the barista/shop owner caffeine shaming me over my afternoon quad shot iced latte with the coffee ice cubes. I’ve decided to select this as the petty grudge that I’ll allow to enter 2026. I think we should all be entitled to one that we hang on to.
I pulled up to a pharmacy just as they closed for lunch…but two blocks away from my favorite coffee shop. What’s the adage? When life gives you lemons, get a latte?

Flowers for Deya.
As the sun rises for you, the moon begins to shine for me. Maybe it’s that way so we can celebrate for some extra hours that you were born - I’m glad we get to be on the planet at the same time.
Happy birthday, darling @dezinthecloud.rwrb.social may your year be full of joy.

One day I will type anonymous without my fingers adding an “e” at the end that I immediately delete, but today is not proving to be that day. It’s not a spelling issue, I think my hands just want to tell stories about wee little mammals.

If you value being able to move, 0/10 do not recommend going for a run (👍) immediately followed by hunching over on the floor to “help” assemble a many hundred piece Lego train set (👎).

Last year I gave my nephew a harmonica. This year, I’m testing his parents’ patience with me in a whole new way. What kid wouldn’t want a homemade chemistry set with plenty of vinegar, baking soda, citric acid, red cabbage powder and butterfly pea powder? Let the pH fun begin!

Took the kids down to the river this evening with a thermos of hot chocolate. There were hundreds of crows.

This sort of sky walking the dog this evening. I couldn’t stop looking up.

Perhaps it was inevitable. I ended up fishing perler beads out from between the dog’s molars this morning. This gift has not only been crafted for me by one of my children but will now remind me of the dog as well.

Update on this situation. My sister came over and handed the dog a wrapped bag of dog treats. The message that presents have treats inside was thus encoded, and the behavior has evolved to include stealing the children’s presents. Since she loves being chased, it’s a win for her no matter what.
I managed to take zero photos tonight of my children opening presents and 50 (!) of my dog chewing on wrapping paper.
