In therapy this week it came up that given how every part of my life was arbitrarily dictated until I was in college, including when I could and could not sleep, at some level me taking naps is recognizing and accepting the validity of my own agency. So my napping is basically mental health praxis.

A buddy in MN shared a drawing a classmate of his kid made. They've been making thank you notes for parents who have volunteered to carpool them to school so their own parents don't have to risk waiting out by the bus stop.

I don't think the grocery store understands how amazingly brave I am being in buying a different brand of challah than normal. (They haven't had the right brand the last few times I've come by. When this happened a few years ago, it was when my previous preferred brand stopped being sold entirely.)

I am in a standoff with my streaming services where they think that freezing every 30 seconds will make me get out of bed to watch on a TV like a normal person or at least fix the wifi, but I lived through the days when it took hours to download a 10-minute clip and buffering doesn't scare me.
