My coworker started a speedrunning-focused Slack channel at work, and now we've got a group of people interested in picking an inactive game or category for us all to compete against each other in. Ideally should be a game that can be gotten for cheap or easily emulated - anyone have any fun ideas?

Been quiet and haven't been speedrunning much lately due to personal circumstances. Still got some fun ideas rocking around, but I don't anticipate submitting much of anything in the near-term. Nonetheless, I'm getting really excited to watch #RPGLB2025 next month!

Was too busy to watch much of SpeedOns which bummed me out, but I should be able to watch a good amount of #FrostFatales next week. Super excited for everyone running and volunteering!

I cannot emphasize enough that the New York City subway is not scary. It’s one of my favorite parts of living here. I grew up in the suburbs having to drive on highways everywhere and that’s way scarier

Well, RPGLB 2025 submissions are now closed and I did submit Ogre Battle 64! Had to submit as a remote runner this year though, due to work. So if I get picked, wonderful! If not, no biggie! I've got my eyes set on another Ogre Battle target already 👀

Achieved my personal goal of completing a speedrun of Ogre Battle 64 in under 3h:30m! Not the cleanest run, but that just means there's some easy stuff to improve for the next attempt ;)

Completed my first start-to-finish speedrun of Ogre Battle 64 any% last night. Had some mistakes that lost me a lot of time, so I'm not too proud of it. Still, I'm looking forward to cleaning it up! If I can get a PB of under 3h30m, I plan on submitting it for RPG Limit Break 2025 😁
