“Can I prove that? No.”

Spineless Speaker Johnson obediently helps Trump attack our democracy by peddling The Big Lie. A profile in cowardice and treachery.

He knows damn well mail-in ballots counted late is completely above board.

There no logic, people like Helen just have careers backfilling justifications for xenophobia. Immigrant groups that underperform US-born are lazy morons who don’t deserve to be here, those who over perform are ruthless strivers destroying valuable White Ways of Knowing & Doing. There’s no winning
Yes, people are going to LSU to "flee Asian educational norms." Sure.

"Canada isn't big enough to hurt the US"

Guess what? We *can* respond to Trump's aggressions by imposing economic pain. If the Republicans can't win key swing states like Michigan, Ohio, or Pennsylvania because we've imposed damage in response to Trump's attacks, Canada wins.

Why are they protecting these people? Why did Kash say there was no trafficking going on?

Why do Republicans not care?

When Bezos first bought WaPo, I viewed this silly underground clock project as a sign of optimism for the paper. He was willing to waste tens of millions on a clock that symbolized long-term thinking; he had cash to burn, and he cared about his legacy. (link is to older story fyi)
Jeff Bezos just shared a new video of a giant $42 million mechanical clock designed to outlast the United States
The 500-foot tall clock, which Bezos is funding, is meant to keep time for 10,000 years.

4. Subscribers leave, revenue falls.
5. Enact crippling newsroom cuts.
