@octopus.energy Our gas reading is being odd again; raised this before, but never really got an answer.

It seems to even out to the right amounts eventually, but it's definitely not right...

RIP François aka DJ Chosen Few. Another legend lost far too soon. I only recently watched this interview with him about the making of his legendary track "Name of the DJ". A tragic loss but his music will outlive all of us.

Fucking hell, just heard DJ Chosen Few has passed. Absolutely one of the acts who helped cement my love of the early gabber sound. Huge loss.

Many on the right will try and belittle and undermine what’s happening.

But here’s the truth. Tens of thousands are joining Greens. Polls are at record highs. People are just starting to feel hope again.

Nvidia gets a bit of intel. OpenAI gets a bit of AMD. Now Qualcomm are buying Arduino?

This is why we can't have nice things. My next PC will be powered by rocks I'll dig up in the garden. It's the only way.

A chippy tea is expensive. Pubs are completely unaffordable. Politicians look out of touch when photo-opping with a pint or ordering chips. These are middle class activities now.

Everything going cashless has helped obfuscate the scale of inflation - because we're tapping to pay for all our stuff, we don't feel the shock of physically handing over a bundle of notes to pay for a Freddo or whatever.

How does one go about procuring a cave to live in? Is there a Zoopla for caves? Do you just claim it as your own? What are the logistics?

Just remembered I have a handful of ESP8266 (NodeMCU) boards with DHT22 attached. Will have to look into adding a sensor into every room.

From what I've read, MQTT is the way to go?

Proxmox VE setup, two VMs, Home assistant and OpenMediaVault.

Amazed how well it all runs on a wee 10w TDP celeron and 8GB of ram.

I find it interesting that there is far less flag shagging going on on motorway bridges that can only be accessed on foot as part of a long walk.

We'll share the date very soon but in the meantime, our Steam Demo is live now! 💦

Got Home Assistant set-up on its own machine now; it barely uses any resources, even though it's a nice low-power system.

Contemplating chucking a NAS on the same device. Is there a recommended way of doing such a thing or is it just throw Proxmox at it?

Not sure how this new digital ID will work, I don't own a smartphone, or a computer.

I don't even have access to the internet.

What the heck am I supposed to do?!? 😱

After being used in WW2 compulsory ID cards were abolished in 1952 because of the widespread sentiment that they are fundamentally at odds with British values and civil liberties.

That was true then and it’s true now. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
