Horribly right-on feminist, part of the vanguard of female bass players who will (hopefully soon) take over the world. Crazy cat - and dog - lady often found up a mountain or with my head in a bassbin somewhere
I've just found out the hard way that you're meant to back up your iTunes. I've just got a new laptop and while copying everything over from the old one, apparently the data was corrupted + the computer shop lost ALL my music.
Over sixty solid days' worth, a five decade collection gone.

I've just heard on the old dog and bone it's National Cat Day. Here is the street legend mackerel tabby that is Keith, curled up with his best girl, Olive the Kangal. She's careful not to move & squash him.
Both are rescue animals and I'd be lost without them.
He's fifteen and she's four years old.

This dog politely asked for a musician's drumstick in the middle of their performance. Always excited to find a fellow stick lover. 12/10

The urban foxes round here are just taking the piss now... they had a rave on my car last night, there's pawprints and slidey marks all the way up and down the car, and a little poo in front of the windscreen. Cheeky bastards. We built over their land, they'll tapdance all over our vehicles.

Scary wildfires going on right now in Ceredigion, Wales - it's only April but the ground is already bone dry and the wind is spreading them across the hills really quickly. I can taste it in the air.
The poor wildlife - all those birds, insects and little mammals running for their lives

I snapped this on the substation (not on fire. Not that bit anyway) on Turbo Island in Bristol's legendary Stokes Croft today.
For those who aren't local, Turbo is a special kind of cider, for those who want to get the job done. If the job in question is losing your eyesight.

When these brave Ukrainians ran out of grenades during a battle with a group of Russian invaders, they improvised with a bee hive.

I've seen a huge number of cat pics here on Blue sky so I guess I should join in. I present Keith the Speedwell street cat and his minder, Chompsky. They're surprisingly affectionate with each other despite the 50 kilo weight difference

Storm Daraaaagghh!
I've just spent the weekend in the eye of a 90mph storm, an entire welsh hill dumped its rain into my sittingroom, and we had no power for three days. I've come back to the city and now all I can think of is getting back out there.
These pics are from the drive back down south.
