Horribly right-on feminist, part of the vanguard of female bass players who will (hopefully soon) take over the world. Crazy cat - and dog - lady often found up a mountain or with my head in a bassbin somewhere
My mate had a irish wolfhound dog, which farted so badly that their dad evacuated the house cuz it set off the smoke alarm. Took them a minute to realise there was no fire.

...apparently the data *might* be recoverable by a specialist but it'll cost a thousand pounds.
Tonight is going to involve drinking cider and
lamenting. I know a few of you will sympathise. Thorts n prayers eh.

And my mum's music. And my dad's (they're gone no longer with us but I digitised their collections during lockdown, and put it on my laptop). And my entire collection since the eighties, all my own bands, demos, radio sessions...
The guy in the shop handed me a small piece of circuit board....

Seen on a toilet wall in a pub in Bristol, UK:
Wow I love your new LED headlights. Can I look at them with my hammer?

That really is a fantastic piece of art. I'll be in Corsham on Thursday, I'll check it out... where is it please?

That's it - I remember going to the post office in the seventies with mum and our dog and a pocket full of coins, to get the dog licence. It was a Big Day.

I actually have one of these, hanging at the top of the stairs, the warmest place in the house. Laundry dries overnight on it. My mum called it the kitchen maid, I didn't know it was a creel thank you

It is indeed the end of a stage for the Rali Ceredigion

Thanks I just looked up the word creel. Every day's a school day
(For those like me who'd never heard it before, it's a wicker basket)

Ha! Don't get me started. The rates of adopting children in the UK are dropping all the time while the number of kids on the waiting list is rising.

A few miles down that road there's one last patch of ancient forest clinging to the hillside, which is so steep that it saved the trees from being cut down - one of the last remaining bits of primeval woodland in the UK - mostly oak with some ash, beech and hazel.

An interesting article that raises some good points. Something that isn't mentioned, is that surely it's better to adopt a dog - a pre-existing, unwanted dog - rather than buy a dog from a breeder, who is effectively forcing some poor dog to give birth to a whole new litter of carnivores for profit.

Turn that down! He used to be such a nice boy
November 20, 2025 at 10:46 AM
Would have been even cuter if you'd gone to the shelter + rescued a kitten.
Let's pretend that's what happened here
