As my mother's dementia progressed and she lost more of her words, swear words replaced nearly everything in her vocabulary. But one word that never showed up was the n-word. Nor any other slurs, actually. Because those things weren't in her. This man has always been a racist
Just want to say, I see all the comments saying it’s a sign of his senility or mental decline. You could be right but I have a thing about linking racism to mental acuity. Not sure it needs to be, most of the time, and I don’t like the idea of racism as deviant, for a lot of reasons.

It’s especially sweet when our ex-orphans give birth to girls. Elephants are a matriarchal species, which means that females form lifelong family units. When little Sia is all grown up and raising babies of her own, they will still be walking side by side.

Activating the Kevin Network! Does anyone know?
Say, @rhi.bsky.social , this is a bit of a longshot, but...

Your dad did an interview with Bill Gates in the July 1995 edition of GQ magazine’s UK version. It's the one with the viral quote anticipating fake news.

Is the full text of that interview available outside of a physical back issue?

Well, I would criticise Lord Mandelson, but two and a half years ago, a UK government official emailed me to tell me that I can't criticize government officials on social media, for a period going back five years. So. I have to wait a bit.

(You think I'm kidding. The UK government told me that)

Kipekee submerges herself completely then heaves onto her feet and crawls out on her belly – usually with a three-nanny entourage watching on. After that? She toddles over for a dust bath. The muddier, the better.

Which photo is your favourite?
