Yeah, they got it right; that wasn't Redford's role to play. Pacino embodied Michael Corleone--and Redford, The Candidate. Both came out in '72. (I think that Jeremiah Johnson was also released then.). (What a year, though, huh? Burt Reynolds: Deliverance; Gene Hackman, Poseidon Adventure) #CineMon

Three Days of the Condor is part of the pantheon of great 1970s conspiracy films, along w/ Marathon Man, All the President's Men, Klute, The Parallax View, Capricorn One, et al. It's an great movie --a harrowing political thriller that will captivate u, and keep u thinking long afterwards.
