Megyn Kelly and I both find it hard to define exactly what a “minor” is.

@sndrnvia.bsky.social I don’t actually feel very strongly about this schedule change, but this reminds me of what you said a while back about MLS heading toward selling out the fans who built their succesful product in exchange for more abundant casual attention
Because the financial growth of MNUFC isn't tied to attendance. It's tied to media revenue, the lifeblood of all pro sports. MLS has to act to become a national business, not a local one. It has to act to make a product that can demand more media $ to then invest in the product to get even more $

Here’s how MLS, which I do not watch, switching to a fall-spring calendar, which I advocated for, alienates normal soccer fans, like me, and demonstrates that the Apple TV deal is not going as Don Garber had hoped.

MLS playing spring-fall shows that it is not a serious soccer league. It needs to switch to fall-spring. Here’s how MLS’s proposed switch to a fall-spring calendar disrespects its fans and suggests that the league may be in trouble

It’s odd how many “Worst coach in MLS“ shouts I’ve seen from generally reasonable people regarding Mascherano, it’s not just coming from Miami fans. This team is much better than last year’s team. Yes adding Allende helps a lot, but they are actually a good defensive team
Happy for Mascherano. Go ask Tata how brutally impossible is that job.

He has been an absolute gentleman every game, always available to talk, always respectful, always honest, always open even for a quick chat or inquiry. You have to love that from a coach.

Also getting better w/ time on the job.

Ratings are definitely affected by the fact that only a few players started a majority of the games. Moose’s rating looks low but he only started half the games. Next year, I need to incorporate minutes played in each individual game so I can weight the average ratings better

Columbus is so much better than Cincy, but as good as Rossi is, Evander is leagues above everyone else on the field, so Cincy always has a chance, much like 2024 Miami

Minnesota (2.91) 5-7 (7.22) Seattle

Can’t even complain too much about the finishing, just a weird format and Minnesota scoring nearly all of their chances across three games.

Well not sure there’s much you can take away from this other than you have to be better defending set pieces and maybe you have Alex take a pen before Osaze
