Something a little different for #EpigraphyTuesday. An iron age arrow-head from Barouk, inscribed in Phoenician 'Arrow of Ada, son of Ba'la.' The Phoenicians were a key Mediterranean influence but often sadly overlooked within scholarship.

Currently nap trapped… while the dog whines at the door waiting for walkies. This is the type of stress I live for and makes me 100% certain I made the decision not to return to work post 4th baby.

There’s nothing quite like stomping around atop an Iron Age hill fort at Breedon on the Hill, Derbyshire in the heart of ancient Mercia⚔️later a monastery then a church; ‘Briudun’ according to the 7th C Anglo Saxon Chronicle, meaning ‘a hill’ and ‘the hill’.
