Hmmm
I kinda don't like sharing this, but it's necessary, because people are still saying things like, "If they go after visas? Tourist visas and student visas and work visas? Then they will destroy the US economy! They don't know that! Mistake!"

Dear reader, they do know that. Their plan requires it.

Yes, and the phrase 'carrying water' actually makes it sound way less bad than it actually was. He rigged the Anita Hill hearings so as to eliminate the other women who could corroborate her story and then smeared her so that Thomas would prevail in her sexual harassment allegations against him.

After all this, Buttigieg was polling at an impressive 0% with Black voters. Zero.

The press speculated that Black voters might not like Buttigieg because he is gay, essentially accusing all Black voters of homophobia (even the gay ones).🤦🏿‍♂️

Buttigieg leaned into this trope.

When Buttigieg took office, there were only 3 Black people in leadership positions in South Bend, including that police chief. Within 6 months there were zero.

But it gets worse...

My students don't even know that their lived experience tells them Michigan is one of the most racially segregated states in the US, and don't know what to do when it's so obvious when pointed out to them.

It's always weird to me how there are like these completely different subsets of critically important factual information that most white folk in the US just don't know. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Because these white folk don't know any Black folk, and don't ask any questions.
Way back when, mayor Pete's reform-minded chief of police, Daryl Boykins, recorded some of his officers making vile racist statements. So Buttigieg fired... the police chief.🤡

Boykins was the 1st Black police chief in city history, and was building trust with Black folk.

But it gets worse...

Just in case you are unaware there was also a tv series produced in 1990 (104 episodes). Then more recently they made a stop motion series with 100 short episodes.

We're headed into the holiday season, so two things to know:

- The only items in the store that are more expensive due to tariffs are: two leather bookmarks. The other 2,100 gift items and 47,000 books haven't gone up. thehauntedbookshop.com

- A trip to a local bookshop is a present in itself 📚❤️

Shutdowns don’t end when the government reopens—they linger in credit scores, savings gaps, and PTSD.
