THIS IS INSANE
The sheen of the sun as it rises over the horizon: every tenant in the Downs, from rabbit to rambler, can share in this borrowed beauty.

I love that Judge Xinis, by ordering the govt to tell her what they’ve done rather than telling them what to do, has reduced them to flailing.

“The plaintiffs are demanding we do X, which is overreach!” Ah, but the court hasn’t asked you to do X. The court is just asking: *what have you done*?
Xinis: To talk in generalities is simply delaying the process we need to go through to determine whether you've done what you can in good faith to comply w/ order

Ensign: Disagree that it's generalities. The plaintiffs have specifically asked court to compel gov to ask El Salvador for his release

Judge Xinis just ordered a two-week sprint to force Trump officials under oath.
Why? Because they defied a Supreme Court ruling and left a Maryland father in a foreign prison.
No more stalling. No more excuses.
This isn’t just a legal fight—it’s a constitutional showdown.

Project Mail
Storm is officially rolling.

We're flooding the system with handwritten letters - day after day, generation by generation.
Not to yell, not to beg... just to apply peaceful, relentless pressure in the one place they can't ignore: the mailroom.

Booker's team just told MSNBC they’ve gotten 14,000 voicemails from people supporting Cory’s filibuster and sharing their stories—and another 280 million people have liked his speech on TikTok alone.

A masterclass in capturing attention.

Well done.

Corey Booker spoke in complete, coherent sentences for over 24 hours.

Trump can't even complete one sentence.

These are the facts.

Thurmond was the same age as Booker when he set the record Senator Cory Booker just broke.

Thurmond was afforded a bathroom break and read from the encyclopedia. Booker held the floor the entire time and delivered a consistent, cogent speech for more than 24 hours.

Incredible.

Sen. Cory Booker—a Black man—just BROKE segregationist Strom Thurmond's record for longest floor speech in US Senate history.

Thurmond spoke for 24 hours 18 minutes in opposition to civil rights.

Booker has now spoken for 24 hours and 19 minutes against Trump's abuses against Americans' rights.

U.S. Park Service Strikes Transgender References From Stonewall Website
The “T” was removed in references to L.G.B.T.Q.+ on the official site for the Greenwich Village monument, which marks a milestone in the fight for gay rights. Later, the Q+ also disappeared.

The National Park Service made Stonewall a national monument in 2016. Today, all language pertaining to trans people is gone from the page - it's LGB, the T and the Q are gone.
