“Peace through strength”? Well. They really all do say the quiet part out loud.
Remember that show Dinosaurs? They had an episode where the military had an invasion called Operation We’re Right, which I thought was apt.

Never let performatively masculine people name anything.

🚨 No. No you cannot violently detain one of his employees and then try to be a patron while his employee is still detained or imprisoned or has been deported. Damn right! This is how natural consequences work.

Yeah. Time to look for alternatives on all things U.S. tech.

The sad thing is: Germany almost got there -5 years ago before politicians sold people out and went back to Microsoft.
The International Criminal Court is ditching Microsoft Office, saying it’s too dependent on US tech, in favor of Open Desk, a German open source alternative.

The move comes after Microsoft revoked ICC head Karim Khan’s email access when he was sanctioned by the US for the warrant against Netanyahu.

The court will move its internal work environment to Open Desk, a German-developed open source software

A crossing guard was killed by the driver of a dump truck yesterday. absolutely heartbreaking.
Look at our intersections, look how hostile these are for people/children - this is what we continue to build and defend at all costs. These aren't accidents, these are results. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Wonder how profitable Ken Sim's Nurse Next Door would be without the millions that Vancouver Coastal Health has paid it? ($13M between 2019 and 2024.)

If Ken Sim, CPA, would have delivered a budget like this to one of his clients he would have been fired.

Let’s hope Vancouver fires him next year.

Also to be clear what he and ABC delivered was an election pamphlet. Nothing more. #vanpoli

Trying to distract from completely caving to Trump and the Republicans?
Breaking News: House Democrats released emails in which Jeffrey Epstein alleged that Donald Trump knew of the convicted sex offender's conduct and “spent hours at my house” with a victim.

NEW: A judge in Washington has ruled that police images taken by Flock’s AI license plate-scanning cameras are public records that can be requested as part of normal public records requests.

The decision highlights the sheer volume of the technology-fueled surveillance state in the US.

These trees ( and a few more) will be cut down because working around them is “just too hard”.

I also bet you they will once again close the sidewalk and bike lane but retain all the car lanes. Because #ABC AND #Vancouver

The whole Cowichan title stuff is amusing to me.

The outrage basically comes down to: We stole the land, how dare you take your property back!?

And a-many now scream about getting property rights protected by charter. They do t realize that would mean a lot of land would not be theirs anymore.
