I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.
My poor mum is so worried about reform, about fartrage's plans for people with indefinite leave to remain like her. It has huge consequences for her future and retirement plans, and no one seems to be cutting through the "swarms of illegal immigrants" bullshit.

I get so fucking sick and tired of people acting as though people that work in what they see as low skill jobs should just never want for anything. Cleaners SHOULD earn enough to take a holiday. Train drivers SHOULD earn enough to afford rent in the city they work in. These shouldn't be luxuries.

Sometimes I just feel so sorry for people that just can’t conceive of community. Imagine being so cut off from any sense of community. So devoid of compassion and kindness in your day to day. That you have to choose hate, because that makes you feel safer than connecting with innocent strangers.
