i think this is partly true but also potentially skips over some of the intent in some of these. enemies like the blaarg and podoboo benefit from matching and blending with the outline-less lava, which itself looks more viscous and “real” without an outline
Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.

If you are against larger class sizes, opening a school only the well off can attend, or AI slop then please take the time to write both the DEED commisioner and state board in opposition of the Pearl Creek charter application appeal.
