CURL YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE: "Curling is absolutely the best sport to watch on television ... the moves are elegant. There's a wind up, a push-off, a slide, a gentle release. Such poise and finesse!" @snackfight.bsky.social is spot on. Curling, ahem, rocks. www.wired.com/story/i-love... @wired.com

I dove into how the IOC and other entities try to avoid betting scams. Will it be enough?

Sports Betting Is Skyrocketing. Will It Take Over the Olympics?

I did not know Dan, but this piece he wrote about Pitchfork music reviews and their place in 21st century criticism is just so fucking good. I shared it with easily a dozen people when it first published. RIP, dude. 10.0

Bob Weir was a beautiful musician who created a space for community to come together in joy. So many of these people followed his music and made their own homes on the road when they had nowhere else to go.

He made people feel less alone, and that’s the highest compliment you can pay another human.
Bob Weir, who was a founding member of the Grateful Dead, has died at 78. His songwriting and rhythm guitar playing helped shape the San Francisco band’s sound as it became an American institution. trib.al/kC31x5R
