Long way to go yet but I think it's worth pointing out that the entire rightwing media ecosystem went all in on the idea that Americans, or at least enough of us, would accept the idea that the government should be able to murder people in the street and they failed utterly

Saying the officer who committed murder is a murderer is dangerous, but it's OK to claim that his victim was a domestic terrorist who literally ran him over.

Several older homes in the Santa Monica Mountains used to have funiculars. This one at 8522 Oak Court in Laurel Canyon is still intact.
