Another roadtrip food post. Who has tried a Runza? Going thru Nebraska yesterday and tucked into this delicious ground meat, cabbage and cheese sandwich. The bun is baked perfectly. Similar to the ground steak from my home town’s (Mt. Airy, NC) Dairy Center.
Winner!!!!

We are on a roadtrip to visit @faineg.bsky.social. Found a gem of a restaurant called River & Woods in Boulder, CO.
Can highly recommend! Book at the bar. We had Duck Wings, Trout, Chicken and mousse. Wines were excellent. Maddie and Rob took great care of us and shared great wine info!

Do you need expert technical knowledge and policy insight on drones, spatial data, GIS humanitarian aid, and privacy protection?

I can help with that.

I'm seeking work outside of the United States, as well as fully remote positions. Open to consulting, part-time, and full time work.

Posting a food distraction from New Zealand. The venison on the South Island is sublime. Check out this Venison with raisin & apple chutney and potatoes roasted In duck fat that we enjoyed at the Zephyr Restaurant in Kaikoura, NZ. Happy Smokedaddy!

Everyone needs to be walking into your Congressional rep’s offices to demand answers.
I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.

We worked for months with USAID to build an $85,000,000 project to end TB in two regions of the Philippines.

The project is funded by private money, the Philippine government, and matching USAID funds.

It could provide a blueprint for eliminating TB worldwide--except it's...not happening.

I think it is now going to become very hard for anyone without a white cis penis to find work in any area or field that receives US government funding - and this directly impacts me and my small business, as well as huge numbers of others.

Everyone should be a lot angrier about this.

BBQ Hanoi Style!
Tried “The Fat Pig” in the Westlake area of Hanoi. Can recommend. Their Combo platter of pulled pork, pork belly, pork rib and sausage was perfectly smoked with a slightly sweet sauce. The side of pork rinds were straight out of the pan and so good. Càm òn!
