Listened again recently and wanted to share this. One of my favorite pieces of modern electronic music.

Keep moving forward, don't give up.

To all my trans homies:
You are not alone, and you are loved.

Is ChatGPT-5 actually safer than ChatGPT-4o?

CCDH tested 120 prompts about self-harm, eating disorders & substance abuse on both models of ChatGPT.

Despite OpenAI's claims, we found that ChatGPT-5 gives more harmful responses (53%) than ChatGPT-4o (42%).

Check out our findings ⤵️

CCDH’s new research shows that OpenAI’s new “safer” version of ChatGPT actually could allow more harm.

Massively important effort right here. Read and share this!
Friends, a few months ago I asked you all to share what your thoughts on what would improve the health of Americans for a project Defend Public Health was working on. You answered, and we listened.

Today, we released our report, Improving the Health of Americans together. You can read it here.

As an alternative to HHS Sec. Kennedy's flawed and dishonest "MAHA Report," Defend Public Health offers some key policies that would truly improve Americans’ health. This report is certainly not exhau...

s/o wh1bby and their page for reminding me of this; no idea why I didn't grab it until now. Advanced, high tech tune-up of a classic.
Additionally, I highly recommend all CFCF music.

One of many awesome and unexpected tracks I heard via DJ Auria in Seattle. Look out for him on Kremwerk lineups and elsewhere. Dude has serious chops.

Posij, I remembered from Critical Records in 2015 and was surprised to hear something so slick and modern. Still got that weight. Crazy good.

Go DL / support this shit!! If you're a DJ there's no good reason to not have it; it transforms a room.

Don't let them convince you that anything about generative AI in its current form, with its current level of consumption, is the way forward for humanity. Say no.
HEY friends: recently seen heaps of "disclosures" from AI companies of the energy cost per question you type into chatbots (most recently from Google)?

Presenting per-query 'efficiency' is part of big tech's efforts to hide its extremely real and happening-right-now climate impacts!

Look around you, and engage with the things that are tangible and present

Let go of the things that seek to hold you down or distract you, that possess no intent to reciprocate. The world in its depth is endless. There's no time for distractions that do not enrich.

I think that I won't - or at least, I will try not to ever forget today when I placed my hand on an old woman's shoulder, then thanked her for going out and speaking against hate for everyone. The sound of her soft and fragile but strong and reassuring "You're welcome" reverberates through my being.

I've spent a long time talking, thinking to myself - reasoning with myself, comforting myself - trying to find answers and a way forward. Things are going to change, slowly but surely. The path is there. This is a reminder for myself and anyone else that there is always hope. It's never too late.
