Saw 50+ Rumis, dozens of Zoeys, a smattering of Miras, and whole groups of Saja Boys at my kids’ school’s Halloween parade today. It’s great, and I plan to wield them all as evidence the next time some animation studio opts for yet another reboot instead of an original idea.

But the existence of Condiment Udders gives me a deep, aghast disquiet.

Every time I hear things like, "This political convention crashed the Grindr servers in SLC" I have so many questions about Grindr's technical architecture. Are these just always made-up stories? Why do they have so many servers in different cities? How is this task so much server work?

I think Meta is bluffing about AI everywhere until they do the brave thing and add AI to their compilers. Don't be cowards, make the AI compile the code, too. Show us how great it works!
