San Francisco in the middle 60's .was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run . . . but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world.

Now that "niche" has essentially replaced "fringe" do you think all the Fringe Festival events out there will change their names to Niche Night or something like that? There really isn't a synonym for event or festival or celebration that starts with N or rhymes with niche is there?
