Ah yes, I well remember our hard work on behalf of the fishing industry. Out of 42 Fisheries meetings while I was an MEP I could only be arsed to attend 1. Then we screwed the whole fishing industry with Brexit, so well done us.

Mega heat pumps are coming. It’s great to see that so many projects are now underway around the world.

There’s a real competition on who builds the biggest heat pump.

Technology has come a long way and keeps getting better.

A white British father and son BOTH raped the same child and pled guilty to multiple counts of Sexual assault.

This has been in the press for 2 days.

The Mirror is the only National newspaper to report on it…

And THAT’s why people have such a skewed perception of the links between race and SA🤷🏼‍♀️

Despite what you hear from fossil fuel-funded politicians, the U.K has just generated a record amount of clean, domestic wind energy.

Enough to power 23 million homes!

U.K decarbonisation policy is a recipe for energy security.

This investigation written up by @petergeoghegan.bsky.social is an absolute must read.

There is a serious need to reform (small R) the way we approach lobbying in the UK - and failing to do so will become a massive security risk.
Our ex-Tory MP sting shows just how weak Britain’s lobbying laws are
The “cash for access” operation we uncovered is just the tip of the iceberg. Government needs to act — now.

Reform accepted £9 million from a former Boris Johnson backer & crypto-multimillionaire.

Today, Nigel Farage postures as a righteous defender of the same democracy he actively undermines.

Democracy should never be for sale. It's time for a cap on political donations.

Reform love free speech while being perpetually offended any time someone asks them a very basic question.

It's a curious paradox.

Why doesn't he just laugh and say, "Of course he isn't" instead of getting so cross.

‘Are you seriously asking me that?’

🔥 Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances.

A new decade-long Brexit study quantifies it:

A 6–8% hit to GDP

That's £180bn-£240bn a year

It means less tax revenue and so less money for everything.

Brexit made Britain MUCH poorer.
