Every Monday I wake up, fully cognizant of the fact that the President took a perfectly healthy economy back behind the shed and shot it, and then I go about my job for the week like that didn’t happen because I have no control over it. It makes me feel ridiculous.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

Jeff B has certainly read/consumed dystopian sci-fi (1984, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, etc) in his life. He knows what he is doing. He claims to promote freedom in the name of ethics while actively censoring a platform of discourse.
This is evil. This is knowingly committing evil for gain

I wonder if the American public will eventually recognize that the level of "finding out" associated with the "fucking around" that they've done over the past 10 years is sweeping and grandiose.

Or are they too lost in the sauce of surviving to care.
