The Soul Nebula in Ha. This is 30 mins in Ha from the only clear spell since my mono set up arrived. The signal is so much stronger than with my one shot colour camera.
I guess 30 mins in mono is equivalent 120 mins with OSC
Can't wait to get the Sii and Oiii.

What powers this unusual nebula? CTB 1 is the expanding gas shell that was left when a massive star toward the constellation of Cassiopeia exploded about 10,000 years ago

THE LION IN WINTER (1968)
John Castle plays Geoffrey – the son nobody but the historians remember.
Geoffrey: I know. You know I know. I know you know I know. We know Henry knows, and Henry knows we know it. We're a knowledgeable family.

"Color is too real. It’s limiting. It doesn’t allow too much of a dream. Black has depth. You can go into it. The mind kicks in, a lot of things become manifest. And you start seeing what you’re afraid of. You start seeing what you love, and it becomes like a dream."

We are quickly coming up on 50,000 whistles shipped so far in January, and I am just forever impressed by the passion of the folks who have joined forces with us!

A reminder that if you know anyone who needs whistles, they can email the address at the top of our linktree! linktr.ee/3Dwhistles

📰 Newly-discovered medieval cargo ship in Denmark is the largest of its kind yet found ⛵
It could carry ~300 tonnes of cargo, indicating a greater scale of trade across medieval Europe than previously observed.

It's been a while but here are some other bits I did related to the book last year...

I wrote a very fun piece for PastsImperfect (thanks for the invite, @sarahebond.bsky.social) on Ottoman reception of Rome, including Suleyman's magnificent Roman triumph.
