I have suddenly been presented with the argument that cheesecake is actually pie, not cake, and while it sounds so wrong at first... It's a crust-contained dessert with a smooth, creamy filling. I mean, yeah nothing cake-y about cheesecake; I've just never thought about it that hard before.
