I always know the main cast of my stories better than anyone else ever possibly could. Some details I understand intimately are only revealed or alluded to through subtext that readers might miss. Plenty is revealed outright but perhaps not enough to fully grasp everyone’s deeper motivations.

I always know the main cast of my stories better than anyone else ever possibly could. Some details I understand intimately are only revealed or alluded to through subtext that readers might miss. Plenty is revealed outright but perhaps not enough to fully grasp everyone’s deeper motivations.

Sidetracked: Ice is…frustrating. He’s my favorite against my will (stupid autism 🥲). A petty asshole & easy to dislike but not 100% unsympathetic.

tBaC’s magic system is fairly soft in the sense that it hardly gets explored at all & the spellbook that appears later on is vague.
The moment I start making too many rules, I tend to get bogged down in tiny details, so it’s easier to simply avoid that or deal with only one spell. lol
