Yesterday marked 11 years since I left my career in Civil Service Project Management after 21 years!
I cried as I cycled away from the office, wondering if I'd made a terrible mistake leaving a secure, well paid, flexible job with a good pension 😰.

Yesterday marked 11 years since I left my career in Civil Service Project Management after 21 years!

Just witnessed the most balsy act. On a plane and the drinks coming round. Staff don’t take cash. Some dude seems completely unable to understand, keeps waving notes at them. Gets given a beer then can’t pay for it. Staff indicate he must give the beer back. He just opens the tin. Staff just laugh.

It seems pointless to fact check someone saying "curry isn't proper British food like fish and chips", just like it's futile to correct someone saying "there are no pronouns in the Bible". They haven't made a mistake. What they're saying is, "Britain is a white country".
