A column from Allison Pearson shows how Labour's attitude to asylum seekers will never be cruel enough for the Right.

An excellent new initiative led by a local community that is sick to the back teeth of illegal raptor persecution inside this National Park.

A friend pointed this hilarious/alarming blog post to me & I thought I would share it with you. It's a conspiracy theory that a shadowy "eco-elite" which the author calls "the Green Mafia" is "siphoning tax payers money into their own pockets while hiding behind the banner of environmentalism" 🧵 1/5

For those of you in Dorset, I'm leading a walk exploring the Poundbury Nature Project, on 13th May (2pm). The project is five years old, & we're now managing about 20% of the total Poundbury development footprint, for nature. You can book a place using this link www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-poundb...

Yet again, if these were climate protestors, there'd have been multiple arrests, with some facing years in jail for "public nuisance". But farmers can block the road and drown out the Prime Minister and the police won't touch them.

I wonder whether we can get to 66,666 by 21 Feb- that would be half way in time and two thirds of the way in signatures.

Trump is greed, pride & hubris wrapped up in an orange container. As President, his extreme egotism is naturally expressed through imperialist dreams. But his role is to "flood the zone".

The real danger is with Musk/Heritage Foundation who seem hell bent on dismantling the US Federal Government.
Trump is capitalism in human form, stripped of its disguises. The violent seizure of other people's resources, the exploitation of other people's catastrophes, the predatory gleam in the psychopath's eye.

I am a climate scientist and this is correct ⬇️
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.
