We get the most interesting visitors at the #GrantCountyArtGuild gallery. Paula Manning-Lewis and I got to have a long chat with photographer Milly West and she's fabulous.

She also took home some art goodies from both of us. Thank you, Milly!

Here is one New Year’s Resolution you can actually keep. This Winter, plan your defensible space workdays.
Instead of trying to do everything at once, schedule family workdays throughout spring, summer, and fall to reduce risk and maintain defensible space year-round.

When seconds matter, having a plan can save lives.

Are you ready to GTFO (Get The Family Out)?

➡ Develop and practice an emergency escape plan
➡ Teach children how to dial 9-1-1
➡ Know two ways to escape each room

Because every second counts.

How do you roll on car cleaning for trips?

♻ Batteries are NOT trash!

After the holidays, many of us have new gadgets... and old batteries to deal with.

Never throw used batteries in the garbage or recycling bin. They can overheat, catch fire, or cause other hazards if not handled properly.
