Today, Rugby (Corgi) caught sight of it on our driveway and laid chase.
They were both gone into the brush without a sound. Normally, he barks his head off at intruders...deer, turkeys.
A bit alarming, actually.

Upon entering the house of my neighbor friend, he asked to leave the doors open due to a kestrel flying in and having difficulty escaping.
I finally just grabbed it and launched it outside.

granite kerbstone with a dioritic xenolithe, the xenolite is cut and offset by a younger fault.
The granite is probably from the Bohemian Massive.
