I spend a decent amount of time around queer and questioning youth and the thought that maybe one of them looks to me like this keeps me closer to the best version of myself.
Especially in these trying times, us thriving and being thrilled to be alive is a shining beacon of hope for our fellows.

It's weird seeing so many people praising Gavin Newsom a few weeks after he invited Charlie Kirk onto his podcast and fully capitulated on every trans rights issue. Like, he didn't even try to argue with him, he just said he was behind him all the way on this. Guess I'm screwed no matter what.

To all the allies out there who fly a pride flag even though they don't count themselves as a member of the queer community, I love you, and that small act of solidarity does so much more to buoy the mental health of queer people than you will ever know.
