Partner's surgery went extremely well. Without exposing details that aren't mine to share, they got the best possible RNG and were able to have a simpler procedure than we expected. Their recovery and pain will be significantly less intense than expected. I could cry I'm so happy.

My Beehive discord homies will already know this, but just an FYI, I will be extremely scarce re: streaming/speedrunning during January. My partner is having a major surgery and I'm having 1-2 minor ones, which will mean little time/energy to be on camera or gaming. Will still be in chats tho :3

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

One of our nearest star clusters, about 444 ly away and only 100m years old. The nebula looks blue due to trace amounts of carbon present
The star cluster is very bright, you can easily see it in the night sky this time of year!
