One of my favorite sessions of the conference. This conversation is critical for all researchers, and the Wellcome Initiative is VERY appropriately named!
Hope all can come to Imperial Ballroom B so you can learn how to unlock clinical mechanisms thru the us of animal models starting in 5!

This was such a powerful session. While our journeys through research feel so individual, the ability to hear about one another's resilience is not only empowering, it's essential to create a community with sustained investment from scientists.

What a powerful conversation about what it’s like to navigate life and a research career with lived experience of mental illness. I’m deeply grateful for the speakers being willing to share their experiences and how we can all be more supportive of our colleagues #ACNP206 @acnporg.bsky.social
If you're attending #ACNP2026 and would like to learn more & discuss this important topic with the authors, come to this study group👇👇 on Tues morning (1/13) at 9 AM!

See you there 😄

The world is a really shitty place, but people are standing up for our communities and putting our money into good efforts where we can. A group of women in neuro I am friends with decided to give back this holiday season. Together we donated $3200. Small efforts add up!!

The doctor’s office really asked me to name and shame my "unremarkable" family members. They gotta know if wasted potential runs in our genes, I guess?

The Trump administration has implemented policy changes at both the NIH and NSF that will reduce long term investments across the disciplines of scientific research. The result has been fewer grants and shortened grant duration.

A commonly held belief is that the brain keeps maturing until age 25 and then stops, meaning that we should limit substance use until this timepoint. A new AJDAA paper dispels that myth and provides implications for #Cannabis use policy. Read it here: www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....
