@simoncalder.bsky.social The UK ban on importing cheese and meat products is nonsense. Just arrived at Edinburgh Airport and there is absolutely no signage. The list of prohibited items does not mention it. So annoyed as we could have brought stuff in. Maybe it has been dropped.

While the gospels say that Judas led the Romans to Jesus, a new theory is gaining traction with some Biblical scholars. There is evidence, some say, that Judas merely shared Christ's location on an insecure group chat that accidentally included several Roman officials and journalists.

@simoncalder.bsky.social I'm very surprised that the publicity around the dairy/meat import ban is so poor. I asked in a cheese shop yesterday and they did not know about it. Seems it doesn't apply to retailers for some reason anyway. Easter problems?

Sorry seems to be the hardest word for Norwegian border police.
They got the passport rules wrong for a British visitor with a valid document.
Then they detained, frisked, fingerprinted and deported her back to the UK.
They now say: "A procedural error was made"

Insane how quickly the racist regression is happening in this country. Decades of progress being undone in weeks, without even any laws having to be passed. Just sheer intimidation from Trump and the right, and sheer cowardice from the corporations.
