1/3 My dad was in the motor trade. We lived in a rural enough area. About 20 years ago, a neighbour's car got crashed into.
The other car had just driven off, so they had no idea who had done it. They asked my dad to have a look to see if he had any idea how much it would cost to fix it.

I’ve never heard Kneecap confirm this but I always took their name to be a pun as Gaeilge because ‘knee cap’ in English is pronounced the same as ‘no idea’ (‘ní cheap’) in Irish

There’s never been a movie shot in or around Ashbourne afaik but Taffin, Pierce Brosnan’s post-losing-out-on-Bond-because-they-decided-to-make-one-more-season-of-Remington Steele “thriller” set in Wicklow but shot all around the Greater Dublin Area, including Broughan near the airport, 10km from me

This is terribly cynical of me to say but surely with this much devastation being wreaked upon the portfolios of the richest people & corporations on the planet on a daily basis, with stock markets looking at double-digit losses in a single day, some dark forces will start making moves against Trump

Not into unsubstantiated conspiracy theories but I’m convinced Musk did a big favour for Trump & that’s why Trump tolerates him. He has a dossier detailing how he adjusted vote counts *just* enough for Trump to win without looking suspicious & if he’s sent out of the tent, he drops the entire thing
