There’s never been a movie shot in or around Ashbourne afaik but Taffin, Pierce Brosnan’s post-losing-out-on-Bond-because-they-decided-to-make-one-more-season-of-Remington Steele “thriller” set in Wicklow but shot all around the Greater Dublin Area, including Broughan near the airport, 10km from me

If it has a bakery it’s a Lidl, the smell alone draws me in! But Aldi is *slightly* nicer and has more niche foods. But for the last word, I think the words of Long Onion from Boards.ie over 15 years ago still ring true today

What’s crazy is that Audi China is already quite different to Audi in any other market. Long wheelbase sedans, narrower SUVs and the aforementioned A8 Horch, But they’ve spent millions on a rebrand that takes all of that away, all that brand recognition & reputation, yet keeps four capital letters 🤔

But the brand is different in China. People like luxurious Audis, they even have a super-long Audi A8 Horch to go up against Bentleys and Rolls-Royce as well as numerous SUVs - all are China-only. Audi is doing fine but in the EV space, their brand seems old compared to EV-only brands like Xiaomi

Audi have been around for a century in one form or another and are a great example of a brand slowly inching its way towards the premium space, despite being as mass-produced as any other Volkswagen Group product. Even if you don’t know much about cars, you’d know their unmistakeable 4-ring logo 2/6

Only met Jon Kenny once, when I was a TY work experience kid at The Den with Ray Darcy, Soky & Emma Ledden. I was sent to meet D’Unbelievables at reception & take them to a coffee dock. They were so nice and Jon said I should do comedy. I never did but I never forgot the kind words #ripjonkenny
