The downside is he's not leaving in chains.
BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

How is "I'm an idiot who can't do my job" a defense here?
Rep. Tom Suozzi(D-NY), getting raked over the coals for his vote for more ICE funding, says in a campaign email that he didn’t understand what he was doing

Well, if nothing else, we know no one is offering safe harbor for maga scientists.
Way too many people in this country asking how Germany deNazified are going to be very unhappy when they learn they kinda didn't, we paid for a bunch of their Nazis to come over here and do shit like run our space program.

Considering the overlap between white supremacists looking for a civil war and voters who think BLM ruined the country, I would suggest that yes, an uncomfortable amount of people voted for exactly that.
Did anyone actually vote to have masked Federal agents hold US citizens down and shoot them in the back?

Justifying killing people because they didnt help you kidnap people doesnt seem like a winning argument.
Blanche: "Remember, what we all saw in that 10 or second video is not the full story. Every American should know that. The story goes way beyond that. It starts with the fact that literally for months we have received 0 assistance from the state of Minnesota."

We've been hard at work and haven't had a chance to post much, but the new book is underway and we can't wait for you to read it!

Most of you. We'd prefer people who support ICE to skip over our books. They're not for you.

Abolish ICE.

Justice for their victims. Justice for Pretti and Good.

rightwingers see people caring about others in their community and instead of finding that inspiring they think it’s some sort of grand conspiracy because they don’t understand what it means to care for others you don’t personally know

"Scrambled" of course meaning "Showing how utterly and completely full of shit every single 2nd amendment humper is"
The killing of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis has scrambled America’s gun debate, another reflection of the bitterness and polarization that has engulfed the dispute over the national crackdown on immigration by federal agents.

The paid protestor thing is obviously nonsense propaganda, but there are people who truly believe it and I cannot fathom being that far removed from the concepts of community, empathy, and simply giving a shit.

One thing that should be pretty clear to anyone who still had waterheaded notions that the gun people cared about freedom are all just run of the mil white supremacists with no deeper ideology.

Gun culture was always just this.

They're going to make AI videos of Pretti with his gun out next
From the NY Post. You know they are really scrambling when they are running "The gun was no angel" stories.

Trigger-happy facist scumbags who signed up for a job so they could destroy peoples lives executed a man who truly cared for people and understood compassion and honor.

The administration joined forces to blame this human being who devoted his life to help.

There is no hell hot enough for them.
A video of Alex Pretti reading out the final salute of an unnamed veteran he cared for until the end of his life in the ICU, posted to Facebook by his son.

I haven't seen any of my extended family in well over a year. I agree.
1/ Another pressure point outside of a general strike is the public and private shunning of anyone who still supports this administration. I made a clear "MAGA not welcome here" policy long ago, and that has included family members. They need to feel societal pressure. They need to be shamed.
January 25, 2026 at 2:26 AM
How would it be different? They said he charged them with a gun.
Imagine how much they’d be lying about what happened without all the videos showing it from multiple angles.
