Since I get challenged on this a lot: U.S. and Japan are both Berne Convention signatories, meaning the copyright is recognized between countries. They CAN go after American companies. And they are. And I love it.

You don't have to share your writing unless you want to. You don't need to talk to anyone about your writing unless you want to. You don't need to seek publication unless you want to. You can get 99% of the benefits of writing without doing any of those things.

#OnThisDay Robert Fergusson died at the age of 24 in Edinburgh. A life-size, street-level statue of the Fergusson can be found outside Canongate Kirkyard, where the poet is buried. His most famous work is “Auld Reekie” which presents a snapshot of life in Edinburgh in his time.
