It's wild how inconsistent gaming media can be. When Sony or Nintendo make a move, it's seen as bad news but still acceptable, like dropping food on the floor and brushing it off. But when #Xbox does the same, it's treated like a crisis, as if WW3 is looming and something catastrophic just happened.

Folks would do well to actually play games they're interested in, instead of consuming them through the pre-digested monetized takes of jaded content creators who play video games for a living, and have long lost critical distance from the fact that they experience said media differently as 'work'.

Look, folks. This is a win win for both MS and Sony. Microsoft gets to sell PS5 versions of its big games to profit and allow the Xbox division to continue while Sony gets a much needed shot in the arm to the PS5's relatively sparse library of big titles compared to Sony's biggest PS iterations.
