Going through a family member having a severe health issue and a low chance of survival is a humbling experience. I’ve had to put aside my fear of accepting help. This morning it was as simple as a new friend offering to make a bowl of oatmeal.

I’m no longer religious. It’s hurt me too much. But I support Reverend Budde. A real example of how I was taught Christians should be.
