Legends Z-A activated my Pokemon collection obsession again. I'm hankering for Beast Ball in it. Meantime I ordered a $20 Shining Pearl so I can get shiny Manaphy and Enamorus. And I have Sizzlipede as a Beast Ball breeding project in Shield. Last month I got a shiny female Frillish with 0 Attack.

For the past ~10 years I've bought my brother a Pokemon TCG tin or Elite Trainer Box for the holidays on Black Friday. We played together growing up & he stills plays. He usually has really good luck!
Looking at the current price at retailers, I'll be lucky if the sales hit MSRP, which has jumped. 🥴

My cold take is that (as much as I would like them to be beautiful & fleshed out) environments mattering least is working for Pokemon. The creatures and human characters are very intentional and they POP against a simple background.

Looks like Pokémon Legends Z-A's Mega Dimension DLC is planned to have three news drop. The first was today, the next is November 19th, and the final sometime after that. The DLC releases December 10th.

The new ranked changes in ZA, no negative points modifiers and retooled ranking rewards, make it feel so much better without any actual gameplay changes.

Weird that it's in the Nintendo Store app, but I'm happy to have this. Unsurprisingly, Pokémon dominates my Nintendo play time. Also the game with the easiest Beast Ball shiny hunting sits at the top.

Had small breakthrough with my therapist today. Realized that my grandparents can't internalize that my husband and I are doing fine financially because we don't care about the upper middle class aesthetic of their time.
