God the world is tough right now.

I did not do well at prioritizing the deep parts of my soul this year. Traveling, sailing, seeing whales and seals and sky. The necessary pilgrimages to keep me going. Other sacrifices were necessary, but that shouldn’t be one of them, even if it is inconvenient. Need to remember that for next year.

Update: 2 weekends away from the end of season and I am being soundly trounced by my partner, who had no such scruples picking his team

if there's a reason to keep up the "tribunals for all involved" discourse one such reason it is to put in stark relief how far away some of the Dem politicking is from the mood on the ground

While I don’t think anything about the McLaren DQs were fixed to favor Max or extend the title fight- the FIA and MBS’ creditability is so strained that it’s understandable why people would believe it.

Today, friends sent me their art in progress, the opening draft from a new story, the first trial of a multimedia project, and pictures of ponies. All because they wanted to share these things with me. To be handed such treasures! I am so fortunate.

If nothing else comes of it- this is the most unified outrage I have heard, all demanding to primary every elected, realign the parties, and hold the entire Democratic Party accountable. Ideas once seen as disloyal or radical are becoming more common. Maybe there’s some hope yet.
