Sorry I’m months behinds due to “stuff”. We wanted to visit Canberra and have acquaintances that live there or near there. What I’d love to do is spend a year traveling around AU. Probably with a caravan. I’m not sure that will happen in any form now but I keep positive about the possibility.

I wish we had visited Melbourne when in AU. Lots of Sydney, outlying areas, Blue Mountains & Brisband (which I loved) but sadly not Melbourne. Hopefully will make one more trip back to Oz.

Just for the record, Canada has a military presence both in country and out. Our role in some cases as been peacekeepers because, well, the world needs that.
We have never asked for the U.S. to protect us and quite frankly living next door to a country that has war-mongering & 👇

people think the renaming is a minor petty thing, but it's more than that. it's the first attempt at normalizing American expansionism. it makes Americans numb to the next renaming, and to the next one after that. then when the physical aggression against other countries start, people shrug.
